Darryl served in the United States Military Police in Great Falls, Montana, where he met the love of his life, Elizabeth. He was known for his mischievous sense of humor, his kindness, his perfect pitch tenor voice, and his deep love for his family and friends. His close friend and business partner, Charles Snyder, noted that Darryl had a joke for every occasion. Above all, Darryl was a phenomenal father, a loving husband, and a valued member of his community.
While living in Bozeman, Montana, Darryl and Elizabeth were active members of Hope Lutheran Church. Darryl and Elizabeth are current members of St. Jacob Lutheran Church in Massillon, Ohio.
True to his character; as staff gathered on his final night, he shared one last joke: "Why couldn't the pony sing?... He was a little horse."
Darryl will remain forever in our hearts until we are reunited again.
