She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Wheeler in 1985; and son, Melvin, Jr. in 2004. Survivors include daughters, Arlene (Richard) Noll, and Pat Wheeler; two brothers, Dick and Kenny DeLong. She was a great-great-great grandmother to all who knew her, and she enjoyed that status.
Grandma Wheeler loved to play card games, camp, and play bingo at Tucaway Campground in Ravenna, and to be with family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening and fishing, particularly in Vermont, and loved all animals, especially dogs.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Interment will be in Greentown Cemetery. Friends may call from 10am-12pm Wednesday prior to the service.
