Elizabeth Cairns

She was born October 30, 1931 in Canton, Ohio to the late Raymond and Leto (Snyder) Evans. Elizabeth was a graduate of Lincoln High School, and worked for Central Bank and Trust. She attended Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church. With her husband, Larry, she formed many enduring friendships through their memberships in Brookside Country Club, and Meyer’s Lake Water Ski Association.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Larry Cairns; special son-in-law, Jerry Iams; two brothers, Raymond and Clarence Evans; and sister, Donna Ellenger. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Kathleen Iams; grandson, Brian (Jessica) Iams; granddaughter, Elizabeth (Kevin) Davidson; great-grandchildren, Bradley and Kaitlin Iams, and Cole and Mackenzie Davidson; sisters, Marilyn (James) Rollins, and Carolyn (Jerry) Radel; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Bacon officiating. Entombment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may call from 2-4pm on Thursday and one hour before services on Friday at the funeral home.
