Genivee Dale Anderson

She was born December 9, 1922 in Akron, Ohio to the late Sherman and Bette (Morrison) Gandee. Genivee was a graduate of Garfield High School in Akron. She was a retired divisional manager of Avon Products, a volunteer at Aultman Hospital, and worked at the North Canton YMCA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Anderson; sister, Joy Brundage; and brothers, Sherman Gandee, Jr., and Sherwin “Sonny” Gandee, Sr.. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Jaimee Anderson, of Canton; grandchildren, Lindsey (David) Mayfield of Massillon, Matthew Anderson of Bay Village, and Lydin Anderson of Canton; great granddaughter, Mckenzie Mayfield; nieces and nephews, Cheryle Wilson, Gary Brundage, Sherman Gandee, Jr., Kevin Gandee, Shelle Skaf, Sonny Gandee, Jr., and Gail Collier.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00am in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Kimbrel officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date. There will be no calling hours.
