Helen was a member of New Life Tabernacle and DAR. She also served as a monitor for Smith Elementary School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Gobel; brother, Scott Davis; and granddaughter, Alisha Hurst. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, John Hurst, Sr.; sons, John (Alicia) Hurst, Jr., Scott (Kathy) Hurst, Jack Hurst, Sr., Lee (Cindy) Hurst, and Daniel Hurst; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; twin sister, Sally (Ed) Morrissey; and brother, James (Ethel) Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Interment will be at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 10:00am-12:00pm (two hours before services on Tuesday.
