Jacklyn Mae Soos

She was born May 20, 1936 in Beaver Falls, PA to the late Louis and Sophie (Harlop) Hays. Jacklyn was very active in the Simpson United Methodist Church. She held membership in Questers Aultman Chapter 997. Jackie was an active and accomplished quilter, and enjoyed her 10 to 2 quilting group.

Jackie will be remembered for her warmth and kindness that she always extended to family and friends. She had the spirit of a teacher. Jackie truly enjoyed sharing her knowledge of quilting and made many friends in doing so.

Survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert J. Soos; children, John (Cindy) Seaburn, Jeffrey Seaburn, Joni Seaburn, Jim (Darlene) Seaburn, Patrick (Cynthia) Soos; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and sister, Audrey (Bob) Webster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Hays.

A visitation for Jacklyn will be held Friday, February 7, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Simpson United Methodist Church, 4900 Middlebranch Avenue NE, Canton, OH 44705, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Simpson United Methodist Church.
