She was a pen pal to many servicemen in Vietnam.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Meucil J. Snyder; and one brother.
She is survived by children, James (Ginny) and Katherine Snyder, all of Canton; grandchildren, Sara Tornero, Amy McNew, and Brent, Brandon and Mikayla Winter; great grandchildren, Jonathan and Autumn; three brothers; and five sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Saturday in the Karlo-Feucht Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Rd. NW, Canton. Burial in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
