Judith "Dup" A. Gallagher

Dup was born in Canton, on March 12, 1951, to the late George and Jean (Campbell) Dawson. She graduated from McKinley High School. She worked for Mercy Medical Center in the ICU for 12 years. Dup was a loving and caring person who would give you the shirt off her own back. She loved baking cooking, plastic canvas crafting, and playing solitaire on her phone. She also enjoyed playing cards and bingo.

Dup is survived by two siblings, Ellen "Duke" Brown and James (Barbara) Dawson, and many nieces and nephews.

Dup is preceded in death by her parents, George and Jean, her husband Allen Gallagher, a life-companion, Sonny Pennington, two brothers, George "Moe" Dawson Jr. and Gene "Rabbit" Dawson, and one sister, Julianna "Puddy" Eckard.

Calling hours for Dup will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 10 am to 12 pm. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Thursday at 12 pm with Reverend Gary Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
