

Peg was born in Louisville on April 27, 1928, to the late Martin and Sarah (Wolfe) Buchman. She worked for The Hoover Company as a riveter for many years. Peg married Charles J. Haun on August 16, 1954, and they celebrated 45 years of marriage together until he passed away on May 15, 2000. She was a 20-year member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Painesville. She was also a member of the Painesville Country Club for many years. In her free time, Peg loved golfing, completing crossword puzzles, collecting different kinds of bears and spending time with her dogs. She also enjoyed shopping, watching mysteries and soap operas, and was a huge fan of the Cleveland Guardians and the Cleveland Browns.
Peg is survived by her daughter Debra Sue (Arlie) Spargur, six grandchildren: Vaughn (Shanon), Charles (Danita), Matthew, Rosemarie, Sarah (Joshua), John (Breanna); 11 great-grandchildren: Abigail, Elijah, Isaiah, Josiah, Micah, Hannah, Alana, Anna, Jonathan, Jay, Timothy, and one more great-grandchild on the way; her nephews, Gary (Sandy) Sturm and Paul Sturm; Rick Wolfe, Keith (Merry Anne) Wolfe, her niece, Carol Bukovac, her great-nephew, Eddy, her great-nieces, Kelli and Cathy, and many great-great nephews and nieces.
Peg is preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Sarah Buchman, her husband, Charles J. Haun, her son, James Judson Haun, two sisters, Mary Wolfe and Josephine Sturm, and an infant sister; nieces, Jackie (Don) Henry and Kathleen Katich and great-niece, Kimberly.
Calling hours for Peg will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home in Canton on Monday, March 23, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Hills Burial Park in Canton on Monday. A memorial service for Peg will be held at Lakeside Baptist Church in Painesville on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. with a dinner to follow.
