Mary Stewart Ripple of North Canton passed away April 26, 2011 at Aultman Hospital after a brief illness. Mary was born November 3, 1924 in Martinsburg, West Virginia to Robert and Virginia Stewart. She moved to North Canton with her husband, Melvin, in 1948.
Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Mary is survived by sons and daughters-in-law James and Patricia Ripple and John and Pamela Ripple, all of the Canton area. She will also be missed greatly by her beloved Papillions, Samantha and Missy.
Mary was a member of Brookside Country Club, Canton Fine Arts Association and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was an avid bridge player and shopper. But above all she was a devoted and loving wife and mother.
In accordance with Mary's wishes, cremation will take place and a private internment service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Humane Society or the Brookside Scholarship Fund c/o the Stark Community Foundation.
