Matthew David Lovett

Matt was born on August 21, 1982 in Canton to David and Pamela (Quinn) Lovett. He graduated from North Canton Hoover High School in 2001. He was employed as a machinist by Clampo Products in Wadsworth. He was an officer and member of the Louisville Sportsman’s Club, where he loved to trap shoot and cook for their events. Matt was passionate about his cars, trap shooting, cooking, and car audio competitions. He loved his family and never missed a family event. His outgoing and fun-loving personality will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved him.

Matt is survived by his parents, David E. and Pamela M. Lovett, sister, Jessica R. Lovett, girlfriend, Jenna Rees, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Matt was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Donna Lovett, his maternal grandparents, Donald and Emma Quinn, and his uncle and aunt, David and Brenda Wright.

Calling hours for Matt will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. with Daniel Messenger officiating. All visitors are asked to please wear a mask to his services.

The family wishes to send a heartfelt “Thank You” to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Summa Akron City Hospital for the compassionate care they gave Matt for the 21 days that he was in their care and for the concern and compassion that they showed his family. They are truly healthcare heroes and angels.
