Ronald Essig, age 63, passed away May 14, 2014. He was born March 22, 1951 to the late Maurice and Elizabeth (Mock) Essig. He was a graduate of Jackson High School in 1970. He worked at the Hoover Company for over 30 years. Ron enjoyed his family, fishing, golfing, listening to WNIR, and watching the Buckeyes play football.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene Essig; children, Jeff (Tina) Essig, Amanda (Matthew) Norris, and John (Carrie) Carter; and the joys of his life, his grandchildren, Jacob, Emily, Jordan, and Connor. He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Tom and Tammy.
At his request, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements under the direction of Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. GOOO BUCKEYES!
