

Tony was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on May 30, 1958, to the late Lon Casebolt and Donna (Burchett) Venus. He married Taryn (Sholtis) Gilmore on May 25, 2012, and they have celebrated almost 14 years of marriage together. Tony worked as a driver for Walnut Creek Foods for over 30 years. He was a member of Woodlawn Church and was an active part of the Worship Team. He had a love for music dating back to his childhood and was a self-taught musician. He was a former President of the Massillon Amateur Radio Club (MARC), where his call letters were KD8UXK. He was passionate about his family and also about cars, airplanes, and the Cleveland Browns.
Tony is survived by his loving wife, Taryn, his children: Amanda (Scott Moore) Jones and Paul (Mellissa) Casebolt; his step-children: Grant Gilmore and Rachel (Logan) Crawfis; his six grandchildren: Emma Jones, Jordan Jones, A.J. Moore, Remi Moore, Natalie Casebolt, and Dominic Casebolt; his sisters: Anita (Chris) Howerton, Angela Casebolt, Pennie (Wayne Mullins) Walters, and Sherry Casebolt; his brother, Clifton (Karen) Casebolt, step-mother, Laura Casebolt, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Calling hours for Tony will be held at Woodlawn Church on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 pm. A memorial service will begin at the church on Tuesday at 7:00 pm with Pastor Matt Coutcher officiating.
