Vera Mae Scott

Vera M Scott, age 94, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct 8, 2015. Vera was a retiree of Kmart and a member of First Christian Church of Stow while she resided in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Vera moved in recent years to Charlotte, NC to be near her family.

Preceded in death by her husband Junior Steven Scott; parents Laura and John Weckbacher: sisters and their husbands, Virginia (Harold) Moore, Ada (Harry) Armstrong, Hazel (William) Wright and Ina (Jesse) Strickling; brothers and wife Delbert (Madelyn) Weckbacher, Lester Weckbacher, Clyde Weckbacher and Denzil Weckbacher. She is survived by her sons Richard (Cindy) Scott of Fort Mill, SC and Jimmie (Vickie) Scott of Huntersville, NC; grandchildren Ali (Jason) Blackburn, Douglas (Mary) Scott, Evan (Kelsey) Scott, Lindsay Strader and Ryan Scott; great grandchildren Clark Scott, Maggie Strader, Maxwell Scott and Rory Blackburn; sister-in-laws Velma Weckbacher and Yvonne Weckbacher, and many nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service was held for the family in Charlotte, NC on October 9. 2015. Also a private memorial service was held for the family in North Canton. OH on October 17. 2015. Interment followed in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Arrangements were under the direction of Karlo-Libby Funeral Home.
