Billy obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Billy, immediately after her marriage to George, was employed by Sylvania Electric in Emporium, PA and then by Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY. Billy was a bus driver for the Boardman Local School District for eighteen years. Billy also was a Girl Scout Leader and a certified Red Cross First Aid Instructor.
Billy was predeceased by her husband, George R., in 1987 and her granddaughter, Delany A. Van Wert in 2010. Billy leaves behind her daughters, Kimberly (Rick) Anderson, Karee (Jim) White, and son, Thomas (Susan) Van Wert. She leaves 15 grandchildren including Kristin, Matthew and Karee Anderson, Jacey, Terry, and Tyler Van Wert, Kimmy (Joey) Fix, Charlie, Joey, Bo, Augy, Elle, Campion, Blaise and Delany White. She leaves one great-granddaughter, Rory Fix.
A private funeral mass will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society.
