

William G. Mani, age 66, of North Canton passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013 following an extended illness. He was born in Alliance, Ohio on April 28, 1947 and was the son of the late Elmer G. and Mildred (Wampfler) Mani. A 1965 graduate of Canton Central Catholic High School, Bill was a proud US Army Veteran who served in Vietnam. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #3383. Bill was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Canton. He spent a long career in banking and retired from Bank One.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his stepmother LaVerne (Hahlen) Mani, his sister Carol Ann, and his brother Ronald J. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Maryanne of North Canton, daughter Elizabeth L. (Joseph) Zarycki of Macedonia, and son David G of North Canton. He is also survived by his stepbrother James (Arlene) Hahlen of Alliance and stepsister Kathy (Dave) Fuller of South Carolina and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2427 Tuscarawas Street West, Canton. Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Rolling Thunder Ohio 2 at PO Box 485, Lakemore, Ohio 44250. The family would also like to thank Meadow Wind Health Care Center and Crossroads Hospice for their kindness, care, and support.
