

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Eubank Funeral Home.
Aaron grew up in Mesquite and graduated from Mesquite High School. He continued his education attending and graduating from Dallas Baptist University.
Aaron served in the United States Air Force from 1970-1974. He was stationed primarily in Germany and was always a favorite time for him. He met Elaine Burchett in 1974, and they were married on August 9, 1974. Their first son, Matthew, was born in February,1976. Their youngest son, Marcus, was born in May 1979 but because of health issues, he passed away a few years later.
Aaron travelled the world for work and adventure. During the 1980s. he traveled with his family in a travel trailer around Texas and the US. In the 1990s, he started working for American Airlines booking flights and agendas for big groups. While at American, he traveled with his family around the world, visiting New Zealand, the British Isles and Europe. At home he was always up for a game night or watch a comedic movie. Aaron enjoyed a night out going to see Broadway plays and musicals, his favorite was Les Misérables. He collected antique guns and silver coins. But most important was including his family in every adventure. Aaron was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Aaron is preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Christine Sandlin; beloved wife, Elaine Sandlin; son, Marcus Sandlin; brother, Rodney Sandlin.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Sherry Sandlin; granddaughter, Laura Sandlin; grandson, Colin Sandlin; brother and sister-in-law, David and Susan Sandlin; a multitude of other family and friends.
