Services for Joyce Batey, 77, of Chandler, Texas, are scheduled for 12pm Wednesday, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, with Bro. Jim Welch officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.
Burial will be in Cool Springs Cemetery, Van Zandt County, Texas.
Joyce passed away November 3, 2014 in Tyler, TX.
Mrs. Batey was born July 27, 1937 in Sunnyvale, TX, to Otto Singleton and Ida Irene McCaullum Singleton.
She was Assembly of God by faith. Joyce enjoyed shopping, dancing, and cooking in her spare time. She worked 37 years at Metropolitan Insurance before retiring. Joyce had a good heart and was loved by many.
Surviving are Daughter, Tammy McGee of Chandler, Son, Mike McGee of Chandler, Daughter, Sherry Atterton of Chandler, Grandson, Michael Richard Fletcher, Granddaughter, Nikki Meador, Granddaughter, Laccy Meador, 4 Great Grandchildren, Tyler, Brynleigh, Randy, Sophia, Sister, Judy and Buddy Krizian, Sister, Nancy Eudy.
Anita was preceded in death by her Husband, George Batey, Father, Otha Singleton, Mother, Ida Irene Singleton, Grandmother, Ruth McCallum.
Pallbearers are Michael Richard Fletcher, Jeffery, Jimmy Dial, Josh Haynes, Jarrod, Randy.
