

She was born on August 5, 1947 in Grand Saline, Texas to R.B. Duke and Mavreen Phillips. She was an East Texas native and graduated from Grand Saline High School in 1965. Ann was protestant by faith. On October 26, 1992 she married her true love, Texas Richards. They had 28 beautiful and loving years together. Ann enjoyed sewing, knitting and traveling. Most of all she loved being with her family. They were her pride and joy. Ann leaves an empty place in the hearts of all that knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, R. B. Duke and Mavreen Phillips.
Ann is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Texas Richards; her daughters, Le’Ann Weidner and husband, Robert and Jennifer Salmon and husband, Steven; grandchildren: Matthew Weidner, Susan Lopez and husband, Rudy, Robert Weidner and wife, Katy, Michael Weidner, Taylor Salmon, Paige Salmon, Brooke Salmon, Shane Salmon and Morgan Salmon; great grandchildren: Samuel, Logan and Rudolpho.
A private service will be held on Friday, February 25, 2021 at Eubank Funeral Home. Interment will be at Haven of Memories Cemetery in Canton, Texas.
