Anna passed away peacefully on July 27, 2024 in Rockwall, Texas. She was born on November 12, 1941 in the Old Bethel Community area of Van Zandt County, Texas to Hugh Etheridge and Corene Flatt Etheridge.
Anna grew up in the Canton area and graduated from Canton High School. She was Baptist by faith and loved the Lord. Anna married her one true love, Harley Mac Morris on September 19, 1958. The couple had 20 beautiful years together at his passing in 1978. The couple raised a family and loved the life they built. Anna went to bed a realtor, woke up a florist. She owned and operated the Cross Creek Florist in Canton for many years. Anna enjoyed cooking and working in her garden. While living in Quinlan she was known for her cooking by the foods she prepared and would just show up at a neighbor’s home with their dinner, just because. Anna enjoyed going to the casinos, and luck was usually on her side. Time with family made her beam; her family was most important and a day with family was the best day! Anna will be dearly missed, but remembered in the hearts and memories of all that knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Corene Etheridge; husband, Harley Mac Morris; sister, Barbara Oliver.
Anna is survived by her children: Brady Morris and wife, Marcella, Julie Covington, Lisa Terry and husband, Chris; grandchildren: Meagan Abernathy and wife, Jayme, Travis Jones and wife, Alexandria, Trevor Jones and wife, Miranda, Alexis Terry, Brady M.
