Ava Nell was a member of Tundra Baptist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Van Zandt County where she farmed and ranched all of her working life. Ava Nell enjoyed fishing and hunting. She was a very spirited and colorful person.
Mrs. White is preceded in death by her husband, R. C. White; parents, William and Letha Vaughn; and her sister, Wathena Weatherford.
Ava Nell is survived by two nephews and their wives: Paul and Linda Weatherford of Canton, and Devon and Judy Weatherford of Canton; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Texas Baptist Home in Waxahachie.
