Ms. Teel passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015, in Tyler. She was born July 19, 1925 to Wesley and Euphie Satterfield Hamrick.
Billie grew up in the Wallace Community and attended school in Canton. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was active in Sunday School. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, decorating and dancing. She loved her children and grandchildren. Billie was cheerful, positive and always optimistic.
Ms. Teel is preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers: Tommy, Bentley and Boyd Hamrick; and 2 sisters: Jewel Morris and Ruby Hamrick.
Billie is survived by her daughters and their husbands: Lynn and Jack Etheridge of Canton and Cherry and Michael Raichle of Frankston; grandsons: Kevin Pierce, Kyle and Susan Pierce, Kirk Pierce, Kelly Etheridge; granddaughter, Mendy and Scott Harrell; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
