Services for Bob Thomason, 70, of Grand Saline, Texas, are scheduled for 10:00 am Thursday September 4, 2014 at Eubank Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Lemons officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.
Burial will be in Haven of Memories, Canton, Texas.
He passed away August 31, 2014 in Grand Saline, TX.
Mr. Thomason was born November 26, 1943 in Dallas, TX, to Dewey Douglas and Melba Lucille McWhorter Thomason.
He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church. Bob lived in Grand Saline most of his life. He graduated from Van High School in 1963. He attended TJC and then began working as an Architectural Designer and Draftsman. Bob then went into business for himself. He loved playing chess and golf.
Surviving are Son, Robert Thomason of Grand Saline, TX, Daughter, Amber & Blake Dobbins of Fort Worth, TX, 2 Grandchildren: Gabriel Ty Thomason, Riley Isaac Dobbins, 2 Step Daughters: Lisa Antioco, Tammy Hurlbut, Several Step Grandchildren, Brother, Doug & Kathy Thomason of Grand Saline, TX, Several Nieces & Nephews and Brother-In-Law, James Schafer.
Bob was preceded in death by his Parents and a Sister, Billie Nell Schafer.
