Services for Charlene Jan Stafford, 82, of Tyler, will be held 11am Friday, April 4, 2025, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Chaplain Brian Mosley officiating. Interment will be in Haven of Memories.
Mrs. Stafford passed away March 31, 2025 in Tyler. She was born December 1, 1942 in Dallas to James Earl and Sarah Clementine Turner Scott.
Charlene was affectionately known as "Nanny" by her grandchildren and family. She grew up in Madill, OK. Charlene lived in Sachse for many years and was a member of the Sachse Baptist Church. She had lived in Canton for many years before moving to Tyler. Charlene loved watching Wheel of Fortune, crossword puzzles, playing slot machines and scratch-offs. She also enjoyed gardening. Charlene will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Stafford is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Stafford; parents, James and Sarah Scott; sister, Mary Stanford; and great-granddaughter, RaeLynn McKenzie Stewart.
Charlene is survived by her daughter, Roni and Ricky Shipp; two sons: Earl and Darrin Stafford; five grandchildren: Amy Clark, David Smith, Jessica Gilbert, Megan Fox and Chelsea Stewart; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Eddie Adams; and sister, Glenda Walters.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
