

Christopher Lloyd Dike, a proud Marine veteran and devoted public servant, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025 at the age of 78. He born on June 17, 1947 and he was a resident of Ben Wheeler, Texas.
Christopher honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps, a chapter of his life that shaped his strong sense of duty, discipline, and loyalty. Following his military service, he continued to serve his community as a firefighter, dedicating 29 years to protecting lives and property in the city of Dallas. His career was marked by courage, commitment, and a deep care for those around him.
Outside of service, Christopher found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing, and there were few places he felt more at peace than outside, surrounded by nature. Whether it was a quiet morning in the woods or time spent by the water, these moments brought him happiness and calm. At home, he could often be found working in his yard, tending to it with pride and care from sunrise until the sun went down.
Christopher will be remembered as a hardworking, steadfast man with a generous heart, strong values, and an unwavering dedication to family, country, and community. His legacy of service and love for the outdoors will live on in the memories of all who knew him.
He is survived by his son: Patrick Dike (Sarah); Stepchildren: Randy Johnson (Polly), Wendy Henry (Ben), Misty Webster (Joel); Grandchildren: Patience Dike, Mia Calvo-Dike, Fernando Anez, Julia Jakob, Derek Crudgington, Meagan Carver, Jessica Morgan, Christopher Dorrell, James Nowak, Joe Nowak, Lynn Henry, Hayden Webster, and Jace Ian Webster; and many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Curtis and Annie Dike; Wife: Patricia "Pat" Dike; and Son: Robert Dike.
A visitation to honor Christopher’s life will be held on December, 26th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Eubank Funeral Home. His service will be on December 27th at 1:00 pm, also at Eubank Funeral Home. A committal service for Christopher will be held December 31, 2025 at 11:30 am at DFW National Cemetery.
