Clifford Henry Gibbs

Cliff passed away April 9, 2017 in Tyler, TX.

He was born June 17, 1939 in Van Zandt County to Ernest Earl Gibbs and Tillie Mae Tidwell.

Cliff grew up in Van Zandt and Dallas Counties as a young boy. He graduated from W.W. Samuels High School in Dallas. While in school, Cliff met Monna Rae Graham and they married September 10, 1960. They lived in Dallas for a few years before moving to Missouri in 1970. Cliff worked for Ford Motor Company as a line foreman for 30 years before retiring and moving to Canton. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and playing golf in his spare time.

He is survived by his Son, Scott & Lisa Gibbs; Daughter, Cydnie & Donald Rutledge; Daughter, Paige & Whitney Norton; Grandchildren: Shannon, Brittany, Amber, Brett, Madi, Ali; Great Grandchildren, Isaac, Eric, & Jake; and Brothers: Truman, Doyle, Roger, and Jarrett.

Cliff is preceded in death by his Parents, Ernest & Tillie Gibbs; Wife of 56 years, Monna Rae Gibbs; and Brother, James Gibbs.

Interment will be at Haven of Memories in Canton, TX.

Family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
