Services are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton.
Connie was born August 17, 1927 in Martin’s Mill, to Samuel Arthur and Maude Ann Phillips.
She attended Texas State Teachers’ College where she earned her teaching degree. She taught elementary school for several years until she became a homemaker to raise her four daughters. Connie was very active with her large circle of friends and loved traveling, horse races, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Holly Springs Methodist Church for several years.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Betty Bass Moore.
Constance is survived by her husband, Merrell H. “Don” Bass, daughters Becky Bass Escobar, Cathy Bass and husband James Latta, Debby Bass and partner Patty Renfro, son-in-law John Moore, grandchildren Meredith, Joseph, Anna, Abraham, Jesse, Lainey, Katie, and Ben, great grandchildren Alice and Dakota, beloved sister Beth Black, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 PM at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton.
Interment will be at Holly Springs Cemetery in Martin’s Mill.
