Dianne Marie Byrd

Dianne passed November 30, 2016 in Tyler, TX.

She was born March 2, 1949 in Mt. Pleasant, TX to Mart and Julia Freeman Barnett.

Dianne grew up in Mt. Pleasant and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. She then attended business college in Dallas. As a member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, Dianne was awarded the Assistant Degree in Rainbows. While living in Dallas, she attended New Haven Baptist Church where she played piano for 30 years. Dianne enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and fishing in her spare time. Her greatest love of all was spending time with her grandchildren and watching them play baseball. Dianne has been a member of Little Hope Baptist Church for the last 12 years where she played piano and worked in the office.

She is survived by her Husband of 48 years, Tom Byrd; Son, Christopher & Shayna Byrd; Granddaughter, Taylor Byrd; Grandsons: Camden, Rylan, & Nathan Byrd; Brother, Gary & Kathy Barnett; Nieces, Crystal Bukasbe & Katlyn Bukasbe; Great Nieces & Nephews: Lee Justice, Preston Morgan, McKenzie, & Izaya.

Dianne is preceded in death by her Parents, Mart & Julia Barnett; and Sister, Janice Bukasbe.

Interment will be at Haven of Memories in Canton, TX.

Family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
