Don lived in Canton for the past 55 years. He worked for Canton ISD as a maintenance supervisor for many years and retired as an electrician. When he was younger, he enjoyed coaching and serving on the board of the Canton Youth Recreation Association. Don also served on the Canton Volunteer Fire Department for several years. He really loved spending time with his grandchildren and dogs.
Mr. Haley is preceded in death by his parents, Acie A. and Geneva Haley; wife of 50 years, Kay Haley; grandson, Duane Haley; two brothers and five sisters.
Don is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Tammy Haley of Canton; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Carl Tuley of Ocala, Florida; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Amanda Haley of Canton; five grandchildren: Misty and Chris Guinn, Jennifer and Jeff Desilva, Coby and Shasta Haley, Sierra and AJ McCoy and Colton Haley; twelve great-grandchildren; and two brothers-in-law: Joe Fry and Freddie Pendleton.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
