Donna Joyce Temple

A funeral service for Donna Joyce Temple, 76, of Wills Point, Texas will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Eubank Funeral Home, Bro. Steve Glosup officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Donna passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 14, 2023 at home. She was born on March 31, 1946 in Copeville, Texas to James Lannie Rickman and Lucy Lee Bonds Rickman.

Donna grew up in her early years in Copeville, the family later moved to Dallas and she attended Woodrow Wilson High School. On March 20, 1964, she married her one true love, Joe Temple; the couple had 17 beautiful years until his passing. Donna was a member of Cana Baptist Church and was active in the church for many years. She enjoyed reading, antiquing and shopping. You could always find her at Beall’s and 1st Monday looking for bargains. Donna's greatest joy was time with grandchildren, family and friends. All that knew and loved her will cherish Donna’s memory.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, James and Lucy Rickman; husband, Joe Temple; great grandson, Brennan Cobb; siblings, Kenneth Rickman, J. D. Rickman, Wanda Sandle, Dickie Rickman and Walta Shreves.

She is survived by her beloved children, Joe and Katy Temple, Daphane Joyce and Barney Robertson; companion, Jerry Mac McLemore; ten grandchildren: Justin Bass and wife, Ronesa , Joe Eddy Temple Jr., Josh Bass, Madison Wallace and husband, Anson, Brandon Cobb, and wife, Amber, Diana Cooper, Preston Cobb, Katlyn Cobb, Ariel Robertson and Van Temple; ten great grandchildren: Braxton Bass, Zayne Bass, Olivia Bass, Carey Cooper, Carlee Cooper, Bailey Cobb, Halle Cobb, Madison Martinkus, Joe Eddy Temple III and Rece Faulkner; sister, Linda Pyle; special friends, Stacy Rutledge and Stephen McLemore; a host of other family and friends.
