At the age of 59 Ed retired, thinking he would die young and he wanted to enjoy his time riding horses, raising cattle, camp, going to Marfa, Texas where he had a nice vacation place. Ed enjoyed painting old cars, wheeling and deal; which meant buying and selling anything and everything.
Ed was married his one true love, Louise, on July 15, 1944. The couple had over 60 wonderful years together, until her passing in 2007. They were long time members of Grace Family Church in Canton. Ed loved life, he embraced every day as a gift. Ed loved the Lord, his family and the many friends he has had through the years. He will be dearly missed.
