Eunice was a Baptist by faith. In 1982 she started working in healthcare. Through the years she worked for nursing homes and home health until she retired in 2009. Eunice loved to crochet and quilt. She enjoyed making and giving lap blankets to nursing home residents and newborn babies.
Eunice is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene Buckley; two brothers: Franklin and Jesse Patrick and cousin, Sonja. She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands: Audra and Lonnie Dunning and Sheila and Lloyd Jones; four grandchildren: Samuel and Jessica McKinley, Melinda and Chris Magee, Lloyd Allen and Rebecca Jones, and Kristina Jones; seven great-grandchildren; five step children: Lonnie, James, Robert, Donna and Sharon; numerous step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren; siblings: Etna, Harold, Shirley, Dewight, Frieda and Gladys; and cousin, Richard.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of East Texas.
