Frances Hyde

A visitation for Frances Loyette Hyde, 88, of Eustace, will be held 9-11 am Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton. A graveside will be held at 11:30 am at Elm Grove Cemetery near Mabank with Bro. Steve Ballard and Bro. Charles Davis officiating.

Mrs. Hyde passed away August 25, 2025 in Canton. She was born October 17, 1936 in Eustace to Benjamin Franklin and Dorothy Naomi Cook Pennington.

Mrs. Hyde was a member of Central Baptist Church in Mabank. She grew up in Eustace and was very active in school. After marrying Bobby Kenneth Hyde, she worked for Curtis Mathis in Athens for 30 years and then for Van Zandt County Precinct 2 for 28 years. Frances loved to bake, specializing in pound cakes, chocolate pudding and fried pies. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Hyde is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Kenneth Hyde; three sisters: Mary Meredith, Nan Earl Lewis and Peggy Hammer; and two brothers: Morgan and Frank Pennington.

Frances is survived by her four sons: Jim and Debbie Hyde, Tim and Renee Hyde, Kenneth Hyde and Robert Hyde; daughter, Lisa and Johnny White; ten grandchildren: Deelena McClarey, Jason Hyde, Kerri Dalme, Kim Wilson, Bobby Earl Hyde, Tasha Scarlett, Coy Hyde, Callie Hyde, Laresa Watson and Blake White; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Maudie Whatley, Jo Lynn Horton and Ginger Reynolds.
