Gayle passed away in Canton, Texas on April 27, 2024. He was born in Canton, Texas on June 16, 1940 to Andrew Eugene Fuller and Elsie Faye Lambert Fuller.
Gayle grew up in the Oakland area of Van Zandt County, Texas. He was a graduate of Grand Saline High School. Gayle was a hardworking man all his life. He was involved and did road work helping to build I20 back in the day. Farming was his passion. For years, he could be found at the Dallas Farm Market selling all that he grew. Gayle loved teaching his grandchildren and great grandchildren all about agriculture.
Gayle was a collector of old and odd things. He could jerry-rig most old things and get them working again. He always had treasures he would one day work on and bring to its old glory. When he was relaxing, Gayle could be found listening to music – Jerry Lee Lewis was a favorite, or watching a good old western and John Wayne. Gayle was a man that what you saw is what he was; he loved his family and loved the country life. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Gayle is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Eugene and Elsie Fuller; son, Michael Paul Fuller; grandson, Brent Fuller.
He is survived by his sons: Rodney Fuller, David Fuller and Frank Fuller; grandchildren: Jimmy Fuller and wife, Dakota, Sommer Fuller, Tamara Kinser and husband, Michael, Alexis Cutwright and husband, Robert, Taylor Fuller, Kelsey Fuller; great grandchildren: Nova, Ellie, Hudsyn, Brynlee, Kaydan, Genna, Phoenix, Lukas, Wyatt; sister, Sherri Reid.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery in Van Zandt County, Texas.
