Lucy was born in Canton, TX to Gordon and Kathleen Page on January 26, 1932.
She is survived by two daughters, Elaine Newsome of Spring, TX and Edith and Tom Raney of Denton, TX; two Grandchildren, Kaleb and April Garcia and Jennea and Brandon Mangum; and four great grandchildren: Adam, Piper, Regan and Makayla; two brothers, Charles Page of Canton and Tom and Christine Page of Whitehouse, one sister in law Gay Page and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Lucy is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Wayne, Gene and David Page; and two sisters: Joyce Whiteside and Mary Nipp.
Lucy lived in several places in Texas before returning to Canton for retirement. She never met a stranger and was loved by all. Her greatest joy was serving her Lord and being active in his ministry. Lucy also loved good food and socializing, playing 42 or Chicken Foot with her dear friends. She had a wonderful smile that could light up a room and a great sense of humor.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeside Baptist Church in Canton.
