Mr. Cartwright passed away January 2, 2015 in Tyler.
He was born March 1, 1951 in Pensacola, Florida and was raised by B.H. and Violet Cartwright. He was a Presbyterian by faith and an independent contractor for the Dallas Morning News for over 35 years. Jack was currently employed by the Do It Best Hardware Store in Wills Point.
Mr. Cartwright is preceded in death by his sister, Karen Witherspoon and brother, Jerry Witherspoon.
Jack is survived by his brothers and their wives: Jimmie and Nina Witherspoon of Crandall, Jeff and Robin Cartwright of Edgewood, and David and Betty Cartwright of Wills Point. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
