Jack passed away peacefully at his home May 15, 2017 in Myrtle Springs.
He was born March 23, 1928 in Mabank, TX to Thomas Everett Lamb and Dovie Isadora Greenlee.
Jack grew up in Kaufman County, TX before moving to Dallas. He joined the U.S. Army at the age of 17 and served in Germany until he was discharged in 1947. He worked for Dallas Airmotive as an airplane mechanic for several years before retiring to Myrtle Springs. Jack enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing dominoes and listening to old music.
He is survived by his Daughter, Elizabeth Lamb; Daughter, Alisha & Alan Vaughan; Son, Timmy Lamb; Daughter, Regina & Gerald Weaver; 9 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; and Sister, Gail Morris.
Jack is preceded in death by his Parents, Thomas & Dovie Lamb; Wife, Peggy Lamb; Son, Michael Everett Lamb; Grandson, Bryon Vaughan; Brothers: Mack Lamb, Bobby Lamb, & James Lamb; and Sisters, Peggy Riddle & Margie Wallace.
Interment will be at Myrtle Springs Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
