Jack, as he was called by close friends and family, grew up in Garden Grove, California. He met his soon-to-be wife and best friend, Bonnie, at a bowling alley. They were married at their friend’s house in Westminster and their love story began. The couple raised a beautiful family and had 54 precious years together.
Jack was a funny and hardworking man. He was a carpenter by trade and loved working with wood. Jack enjoyed a good day of fishing and time with family. He had many stories to tell and he was proud to be a Barrett. He loved his family and pets more than anything in the world. He also was a great baseball coach. Loved his team and was really good at coaching young boys – soon to be men. Most days you could find him doing some project working with odds and ends. Jack will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
