Jimmy was born December 27, 1929 in Rice, TX to James and Effie Box.
Interment will be in Prairie Springs, Ben Wheeler, Tx.
Jimmy was married to his precious wife Joyce for 59 years. He was Baptist by Faith and served his country during the Korean War. Jimmy owned & operated a plumbing business for 36 years. He loved his cows and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce L. Box; son, Wayne & Elaine Wilson; daughter, Brenda & Lawrence Snell; Sister-in-law, Elizabeth “Nell” Box; 8 grandkids, 11 great- grandchildren, & 2 great-great- grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Polly & Loraine; and brothers, Vernon, James, & Floyd.
Pallbearers will be Bill Bergin, Lawrence Snell, Wayne Wilson, Jimmy Snell, Lloyd Snell, Larry Snell, Bennie Paul Snell, and James Jordan.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at the Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, TX.
