She passed away October 3, 2015 in Tyler, TX.
Joann was born September 14, 1935, in Mamou, Louisiana to Llewellyn and Bessie Marie Mesh Feucht.
Interment will be in Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton, TX.
Joann was raised in the Catholic faith. As a young woman she worked at Majors And Majors Commercial Real Estate as their full charge bookkeeper. She was also a bookkeeper and model for Spivey Bowman Furrier in Dallas. After marrying, she helped her husband in his Veterinary Clinic in Van. She loved to paint, sew, and play scrabble. She also enjoyed sketching and oil painting.
She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Dr. Franklin Boyd Shivers; Sister, Geraldine Marie Benoit; and 2 Brothers: Laurel Feucht and David Durocher.
Joann was survived by her Son, Glen Boyd Shivers of Van, TX; Daughter, Dana Lea Shivers of Plano, TX; and Brother, Wayne Feucht.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 pm at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, TX.
