Katherine Seekings

Services for Katherine Seekings, 78, of Canton, are scheduled for 11 am Friday, May 13, 2016, at the St. Therese Catholic Church in Canton with Father Selvaraj Sinnappan officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home in Canton. Interment will be in Haven of Memories.

Mrs. Seekings passed away May 11, 2016 in Canton. She was born April 30, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio to Michael and Ella Bailey Beniak.

Katherine married Ronald Seekings on February 7, 1959. They moved to Lancaster, TX in 1968 where she worked for Brasscraft Western for 15 years. She relocated to Canton in 1992. Katherine enjoyed reading, crocheting, gardening and water aerobics where she met many friends. She also enjoyed her pets throughout the years.

Mrs. Seekings is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Beniak.

Katherine is survived by her husband, Ronald Seekings of Canton; Son, David and Helen Seekings of DeSoto, TX; daughter, Jennifer and Larry Piazza of Ft. Worth; daughter, Karen and Kenneth Ivey of Kaufman; son, James and Carrie Seekings of Ft. Mill, SC; 11 grandchildren: Katherine, Scott, Stephen, Kevin, Lauren, Alex, Reagan, Blake, Rion, Will and Paige; and a brother, Michael Beniak, Jr. of Brook Park, Ohio.

A visitation will be held at 10-10:30 am Friday at St. Therese Catholic Church. A Rosary will begin at 10:30 am.
