Services for Kermitt Maxwell McGregor, 72, of Wills Point, will be held 10 am Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Dwayne McCormack officiating. Interment will be in Haven of Memories.
Mr. McGregor passed away January 25, 2022 in Burleson. He was born July 12, 1949 in Greenville to Odell Kermitt and Lois Marie Mosley McGregor.
Max was a member of the Myrtle Springs Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He was self employed for many years. Max was a good husband and brother who was well loved.
Mr. McGregor is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia McGregor; parents, Odell and Lois McGregor; sister, Nancy Gomez; and brother David McGregor.
Max is survived by his two sisters: Catherine McBride and Angela Melton; two brothers: Timothy and Mark McGregor; three step-children: Philly Stewart, Tina Roake and Preston Weeden; grandchildren Chelcy Morrison (Jimmy), Chrisandra Roark, Charlotte Stanford, Darcy Stewart and Tiffany Golden; seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and one on the way; two nieces: Lalonada Shults and Heather Melton; and four nephews: Eric Gomez, Jackie Wiley, Mark McGregor, Jr. and Zander Evans.
Visitation will be 9:30 am to 10 am Saturday at the funeral home.
