Kittie Marie Hamlin

Kittie grew up in the Myrtle Springs Community in Van Zandt County. She loved life. Kittie enjoyed painting and going to the casinos. She would smile ear to ear when she won. But, it was cooking for family and spending time with grandchildren that made her the happiest. Kittie has been with the love of her life, Ricardo, over 35 years. She adored and loved her family. Kittie will be missed by all that knew and loved her, but will live on through their memories.

She is preceded in death by parents, Rayford and Flora Temple; husband, Michael W. Hamlin.

Kittie is survived by her beloved, Ricardo Garza; daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Stacy Samples; daughter, Stacy Hamlin; step-daughter, Jasmine Earl; grandchildren, Trenton, Ashley, John Paul, Brittany, Crasanthama, Meloni and James; great-granddaughter, Lexi; and soon to be great-grandson, Waylon; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Elic Killgo, Georgia and Joaquin Gaytan; many cousins, other family and friends.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, 2:00 pm, March 22, 2022, at Eubank Funeral Home, Canton, TX with Bro. Dan Tarno officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in the Myrtle Springs Cemetery, Van Zandt County.
