
Services for Larry Noble Mobley , 73, of Wills Point, Texas, are scheduled for 10:00 am August 12, 2014 at Eubank Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Denny Burris officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.
He passed away August 7, 2014 in Wills Point, TX.
Larry was born August 25, 1940 in Grand Prairie, TX, to Noble Victor Mobley and Lois Lander Lawrence Mobley.
Larry grew up in Grand Prairie where he graduated High School in 1958. He went to work for the Dallas Fire Department on Sept. 1, 1960. Larry retired as a Captain on Sept. 2, 1990 after 30 years of service. During retirement, he enjoyed several hobbies including hunting, fishing, rebuilding antique tractors, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a man of many talents. Larry was a member of the Mesquite Masonic Lodge and Wills Point Antique Tractor Club.
Surviving are Wife, Patsy Mobley of Wills Point, TX, Son, Dean & Debi Mobley of Rowlett, TX, Daughter, Dana Mobley of Dallas, TX, Daughter, Lana Brown of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Daughter, Sharla Thompson of Mesquite, TX, 6 Grandchildren, Austin, Jenny, Jeb, Shea, Heather, & Abby, 5 Great Grandchildren, Brenna. Braedon, Reese, Paisley, & Avenly, Several nieces & Nephews, Son-in-law, Jimmy Thompson..
Larry was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, Judy Mobley, Sister, Anita Courtney, Sister, Donnie Bradley, Sister, Karen Morgan, Brother, Lowell Mobley.
Honorary Pallbearers are Richard Hernandez, Benny Howard, Jim Pratt, Claude Pruitt, Clay King.
