He was born on May 27, 1934 to Louis and Adeline Keizer in Dallas, TX.
Louis was a man of many hobbies some of which include playing musical instruments, fishing, American and world history, traveling, photography, bird watching, taking his beloved dog, Buddy, for car rides, flying model airplanes, studying philosophy, reading technical manuals, and spending time with family and friends. He was a proud member of The Sons of the Republic of Texas and the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he flew as well as instructed which prepared him for his time working for NASA and later REI. He was a man of many experiences and his family is lucky to be left with a legacy of stories to remember him.
He is preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, Scott Westfall.
Louis is survived by his son Karl Keizer; daughter, Aquila Westfall; stepdaughter, Kelly Perkinson; stepson, Billy Peppard; granddaughter, Audrey Westfall; granddaughter, Alana Westfall; grandson, Chase Peppard; granddaughter, Kendall Perkinson; grandson, Brandon Peppard; and great grandson, Mason Mauldin.
