Michael went home to the Lord on December 22, 2022, in Athens, Texas. He was born in Dallas, Texas, on January 19, 1952, to Arthur Wilson, Jr. and Daphnell (Foster) Wilson. Michael grew up Baptist by faith surrounded by a fun loving family. Throughout life Michael had many hobbies and interests. He enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar and animals of all sorts. However, his most sought after interests were his love for antiques. Michael would spend many hours going to flea markets, yard sales and antique shops to find the perfect items.
Michael is survived by his family: cousin, Kathy George and husband, John of Magnolia, AR; uncle, Lee Ray Foster and wife, Shirley of Forney; his treasured cat, Kitty; plus numerous other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Arthur and Daphnell Wilson; and his cherished grandparents.
