Marcus Juluis Hopkins

Services for Marcus Juluis Hopkins, 59, of Terrell are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016, at the Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton with Bro. Bryan Easley officiating. Interment will be in Haven of Memories Memorial Park.

Mr. Hopkins passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016, in Terrell. He was born July 4, 1956, in Waco, TX to Marcus and Vaudine Thornburgh Hopkins.

Marcus attended Rafter J Cowboy Church in Terrell. He grew up and lived in Terrell most of his life. He loved to hunt, fish, read the Bible and play Forty-two. Marcus also enjoyed watching NASCAR and Football.

Mr. Hopkins is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Brenda Hopkins; and his grandparents.

Juluis is survived by his son, Michael and Kristi Hopkins of Terrell; 3 daughters: Amy Haley of Kaufman, Mandy Brewer of Martins Mill, and Shanna and Paul Hopkins of Kaufman; 10 grandchildren; 6 brothers: Roy and Virginia Hopkins of Kaufman, Glen and Catherine Hopkins of Terrell, Jimmy Hopkins of Lindale, Donald and Joy Hopkins of Martins Mill, Ernest Hopkins of Tyler, Jeffery and Tammy Hopkins of Quinlan; 5 sisters: Peggy Smith of Wills Point, Ruby Jo Dominick of Edgewood, Barbara and Joe Waymire of Canton, Delores and Roy Warrington of Quinlan and Tina Davis of Lindale; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be the brothers: Roy, Glen, Jimmy, Donald, Ernest and Jeffery Hopkins.

Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. A family meal will be served at the home of Cathy and Marc Alsing in Ben Wheeler.
