

A memorial service for Marshall Lewis Parks, 75, of Grand Saline, is scheduled for Saturday, January 10, 2014, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, with Peggy Williams officiating under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home.
He passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at his home in Grand Saline.
Marshall was born December 21, 1939 in Van, Texas to Madison and Venetta Parks.
He grew up in Van Zandt County and went to school in Van. Marshall joined the U.S. Army at the age of 16 where he worked in a missile silo. After the service, Marshall worked as a machinist for many years. He married his precious wife Bonnie in 1965 and they started their family together. After marriage, Marshall changed his career and became a carpenter. Over the years he became a master craftsman. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who would have preferred to live outdoors. Marshall was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who was proud of his family and lived life to the fullest, with no regrets.
He is survived by his Wife, Bonnie Parks of Grand Saline, Daughter, Pamela & Mickey McCoy of Magnolia, Daughter, Debbie & Mark McComas of Ovilla, Son, Alex & Donna Parks of Grand Saline, 6 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, and Sister, Mildred Ayers.
Marshall is preceded in death by his Parents, Madison & Venetta Parks, and Brother, Gary Gwen Parks.
