Marty Weaver

Marty passed away October 27, 2024 at his home. He was born December 14, 1945 in Andalusia, Alabama to Gaytha Martin Weaver and Hilda Dean McLelland Weaver.

Marty grew up in Andalusia. He served in the Army Reserves and Air Force Reserves. Marty had an interesting career as an aircraft mechanic. His job required to accompany the flight crew. This allowed him to travel to many interesting places around the world and met many famous artists and celebrities. Marty enjoyed Ham Radio, guitars, motorcycles, dancing, and traveling in his RV. He loved the ocean. Marty was a member of The Bridge Fellowship in Martins Mill where he helped with the children's ministry.

Mr. Weaver is preceded in death by his parents, Gaytha and Hilda Weaver; and two sisters: Jan Booher and Sherry Peterson.

Marty is survived by his wife, Maureen Doty; son, Aaron and Adriana Weaver; daughter, Kim Craig; son, Scott and Mindy Harrell; son, Todd and Christine Harrell; ten grandchildren, Zachary Weaver, Shawn Weaver, Summer and Daniel Rowe, Christen Craig, Spencer Craig, Taylor and Cade Allen, Justin and Kelsey Harrell, Travis Harrell, Clay Harrell and Willa Harrell; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Richard and Melva Roush; and three sisters: Kelly and Don Paul, Laura Wright and Lisa Duncan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Buckner Children and Family Services in Dallas or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
