Marvin grew up in Mesquite and lived in Canton for over 30 years. He was a faithful Baptist dedicated to hard work, striving to provide a great life for his family. Marvin enjoyed hunting deer and hogs, as well as fishing.
Marvin is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Skinner, and two grandsons, Lane Carson Skinner and Marvin Lane Skinner. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Debra Skinner; two sons and their wives, Marvin Dale and Victoria Skinner and Jerry Dale and Kristen Skinner; seven grandchildren, Wyatt, Macy, Katy, Ella, Hayley, Autumn, and Maddison; and his mother, Mary Ann Sanders, three brothers, and two sisters.
Marvin was an extraordinary husband, father, and grandfather. He left behind a legacy of love that will inspire us always. His presence will be dearly missed.
